It is with great sadness that we announce that on July 8, 2019 Alan Johnson passed away.
Alan moved to Edmonton from Grimshaw, Alberta and started at Martin Farm Equipment on August 19, 1985 as an Agricultural Technician. From there, he quickly moved into the position of Agricultural Sales in 1987 and covered the west territory until May of 2002. At that time he joined the Parts and Service team and moved into the position of Customer Satisfaction Manager (CSR) for the 4 Agricultural stores. In 2012 Alan was asked to take the role of West Edmonton Service Manager Position. In the spring of 2019 Alan got back out on the road as the Aftermarket Product Support Rep. This year he would have celebrated his 34TH year with Martin Deerline.
In all of the positions Alan held at Martin Equipment and Martin Deerline, he was always sincere in trying to do what was right and best for the client. Alan was a great leader and mentor, and the success of his employees was always important to him. He truly cared about the clients, staff and their families.
Alan will be deeply missed as we have lost a great friend and business associate.
A Celebration of Life will be held Heritage Park Pavilion Centre in Stony Plain (5100 - 41 Avenue) on Tuesday, July 16TH at 3:00 pm.
